The Way of the Heart – A Humble Seed of the Spirit
Now available on Amazon
Dear brothers and sisters, dear friends,
It is a joy for me to present The Way of the Heart. This is not simply a book; it is the fruit of years of inner searching, of prayer, and of a life shared with those who, like myself, seek to follow Christ in the midst of ordinary life.
At the heart of this work lies a simple yet decisive image: the seed. That small portion of faith—the size of a mustard seed, as the Gospel tells us—which the Spirit gently places within us.
We are the soil: varied, at times dry, at other times receptive, always in need of water and light. And yet, in every kind of soil, if it allows itself to be touched by grace, there remains the possibility of life.
The Way of the Heart seeks to accompany you along this path: to discover where faith has been sown within you, what nourishes it, what hinders it, and how it may begin to flourish again—even after seasons of dryness.
This is a work of lived theology rather than abstract reflection. It arises from pastoral experience, from the questions of daily life, and from the conviction that God is not distant, but deeply involved in our story.
I am grateful to all those who, in one way or another, helped me to recognize this “humble seed of the Spirit.” My hope is that, in reading these pages, you may come to recognize your own, and to tend within your heart the garden where God continues His work.
With sincere gratitude,
Fr. Miguel A. Bruchmann
